Swim Lessons
The YMCA of Franklin & Grove City offers progressive youth swim lessons year round.
Our program features a low child-to-instructor ratio to ensure a high level of success. YMCA swim instructors are trained to work with younger children; additional lifeguards are always on the pool deck during swim lessons. Please note: children should be willing to work with the instructor and participate in swim lessons independent of their parent.
The YMCA uses class levels to ensure your that each child is placed according to his/ her ability. Children are evaluated at the beginning of each session; placement in the the appropriate level is confirmed at that time. Progression through each level is determined by successful completion of required skills.
Swim Basics (ages 3-5 )
Each session features one 45 minute class per week for seven weeks.
Location: Therapy Pool

- Tuesdays- 5:00 -5:45 PM
- Wednesdays 10:00 -10:45 PM
- Thursdays- 4:15 -5:00 PM

Each session features one 30 minute class per week for seven weeks. An parent/guardian will need to accompany their child (in the water) during the class.
